9.2 Lighting

All of the lightbulbs installed in your apartment are low energy that enables them to produce light using a fraction of the electricity of ordinary bulbs. It also means they last longer than ordinary bulbs – up to 10 times longer – so you can go on saving money and energy year after year. Switching from an ordinary 50W bulb to an energy saving one could save up to £10 – £15 a year on your electricity bills so when replacing lightbulbs please make sure that you use low energy ones.

Always turn off lights when you leave a room and adjust your curtains or blinds to let in as much light as possible.
