15.0 Things not to do yourself

Always use your common sense. There are some things that you may feel you can tackle but shouldn’t.

• Do not make any alterations to the electrical, heating, plumbing or drainage installations. All electrical work must be done by a qualified electrician.
• Do not cut holes in any walls, floors or ceilings.
• Always get your electric appliances installed by NICEIC registered electricians.
